“The wildebeest migration around Lake Ndutu - calving and on the move to the central Serengeti” - Janehudson

Tanzania January 2018 for the migration; trip of a lifetime (and one to be repeated)

11 stunning nights in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Ndutu, Serengeti and finishing with Tarangire national park.

The weather, the wildlife, the scenery, the accommodation, our hosts, the lodge and camp staff and the itinerary were all perfect and we couldn't have had a more amazing time. Our driver was a pleasure to be with, highly informative, taught us some Swahili and made sure we were comfortable and saw as much wildlife as possible.

The big cats were unforgettable, as were the elephants in Tarangire and the wildebeest migration around Lake Ndutu was also spectacular.

The scenery was awe-inspiring and the people of Tanzania are so welcoming. I highly recommend Tanzania when the migration is on and literally several million wildebeest and zebra are on the move.
