Nairobi is Kenya's principal economic, administrative, and cultural center and is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Africa. Nairobi means 'place of cool waters' in the Masai language. Our representative will help you through check-in and make sure you settled in well.

Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Baringo

Leaving Nairobi in the early morning, we make a scenic drive to the west with a stop at the view point and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Baringo in the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. Indeed the lake is reputed to be the bird- watching center of Kenya.

Day 3:Lake Baringo - Lake Nakuru National Park

Early in the morning we head south via Lake Bogoria which is a shallow soda lake with a beautiful scenery and also home to a sizeable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers which also contribute to the beauty of the lake. After lunch, we proceed to Lake Nakuru in the south - another shallow soda lake which has been described as "an ornithologist's paradise and one of the world's most magnificent sights". Here one has an opportunity to see up to two million flamingoes besides tens of thousands of other birds if lucky. Lake Nakuru also has rhino sanctuary and also harbors lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo and many other animals. Overnight in a Campsite outside the Park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National reserve

This morning we drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve-one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon game viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Be on the look-out for the famous big five; the most sought after in the early 20th century, when Kenya was a hunters' paradise. The vast savannah grasslands as far as the eye can see is home to the black-manned Lion, Cape Buffalo, the savannah Elephant, Black Rhino, the elusive Leopard, impalas, Maasai Giraffes, Waterbucks, Warthogs, Thompson & Grand Gazelles, Topis, the resident wildebeests among many others.

Strengthened by lunch it then continues with a game drive in the Park, which is sanctuary for Rothschild giraffes and leopards. The varied landscape includes marshes, meadows, rocky cliffs, Acacia forests and Rocky slopes, which are covered in particular on the eastern border of Euphorbia forests, which are among the largest in Africa. The catchment area of the Lake is bordered on the North by the Menengai crater, in the North East by the Bahati Hill, to the East by the lion Hill, to the South by the Eburu crater and the Mau escarpment in the West. The ecosystem has about 56 types of mammals including the white rhino, Buffalo and a variety of birds (nearly 450 species). Later in the afternoon, it goes back to the Lake Naivasha region.
