You arrive at the lodge, check-in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Here you will spend two nights and discover Serengeti – one of East Africa’s most fascinating game parks. In the local language, “Serengeti” means “the endless plains that go up to the sky”. And they do just that! One of most striking features of this park is the series of large granite outcrops that dominate the vast plains, making it very different from Kenya’s Masai Mara. Life in the park centres on the triangular trek of several million hooves. This movement is constant and never stops, just following the good grazing pastures.

You have breakfast and then depart for Ngorongoro.

You visit the Olduvai Gorge, a prehistoric site en-route. Picnic lunches are provided.

You check-in at the Ngorongoro Sopa for dinner and overnight stay.

You have breakfast and then drive to the Crater Rim – a distance of approx 25 minutes and descend into the crater using a Landover 4×4 for a 6-hours’ game-viewing excursion.

Picnic lunches are provided. Return by evening time to Gibbs Farm.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Views and Vistas of Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the wonders of the world, and words fail to offer a fair description of the enormity and beauty of this crater. The only comparison could be to the Garden of Eden. A steep wall of thick forest surrounds the circumference, which looks like a natural amphitheatre, 260 sq kms in size. An incredible ecosystem consisting of grasslands, swamps, lakes, rivers, woodlands, forests and an arid area of shifting dunes exists here, and thus the crater is able to sustain a vast resident population of game including elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo, wildebeest, gazelle, leopard, black rhino, monkeys and hyena.

After breakfast, you return to Arusha.

You stop for lunch at the New Arusha Hotel and then proceed to Amboseli National Park via Namanga border.

Game-drive en-route. Arrive at the camp for dinner and overnight.

You will spend two nights here and enjoy a full day game drive.

Views and Vistas of AmboseliAmboseli is famous for its amazing back-drop of the glistening snow-cap of Kilimanjaro and also for its large herds of elephants. This park contains five main wildlife habitats plus a generally dry-bed lake, Lake Amboseli. These are open plains, extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland, rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country, swamps and marshes and the Oldoinyo Orok massif. Here like in the Masai Mara, the pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many a century.

You have an early breakfast and depart for Mount Kenya via Nairobi.

You arrive at the Castle Forest Lodge located in the dense forest of Mount Kenya.

This is a small – mountain style chalet lodging with personalized service. A great break in nature!

Your lunch will be at the lodge. In the afternoon you take a two-hour guided walk into the forest with one of the local mountain guides.

This is a pleasant walk where you will see birds, insects, different types of flora and trees and appreciate the finer things of Mother Nature.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

You have breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to the Aberdares.

This is part of the central highlands of Kenya.

The moorlands and forest form the main feature of this area with altitude in some areas rising as high as 3,930 metres.

In the heart of this forest lies the famous tree-hotel – the Ark

Your lunch will be at the Aberdare Country Club.

Afternoon transfer to the lodge in the heart of the forest.

Game-viewing is from the terrace overlooking the water-hole that is illuminated at night.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

You begin your day with an early breakfast. Later we drive to one of the most famous lakes in the Great Rift Valley – Lake Nakuru.

You check-in at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, a spectacular lodge overlooking the lake.

In the afternoon, you go for a game-drive in the park and around the lakeside.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Views & Vistas

The Lake Nakuru terrain includes areas of sedge, marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrop. In the late 80s, the park also became Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and is today home to both the white and black rhinos. You will find lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, and waterbucks in this unique park.

DAY 12 & 13: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA (285 KMS – 5.30 HOURS)

After breakfast, you will proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok.

Your check in to the hotel is followed by lunch at Mara Fig Tree Camp, set on Talek River.

In the afternoon, you go for a game-drive.

A natural extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, the Mara is world famous for its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators.

Dinner and overnight stay at the tented lodge· On the second day, you will have three game-drives starting at sunrise, mid-morning and late afternoon.

All meals and overnight at the tented lodge.

Views and Vistas

It is a country of breath-taking vistas, a panorama of vast rolling plains and rounded hills interspaced by groves of acacia woodlands and dense thickets of shrub. The whole area is bisected by the Mara river and its tributaries which are bordered by luxuriant riverine forest.

You begin your day with an early morning game drive followed by breakfast.

You then drive to the neighbouring Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha, a fresh-water lake, is one of the most beautiful of Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes with its fringing banks of feathery-headed papyrus, secluded lagoons and channels, blue water-lilies and the Crescent Island sanctuary.
