For the more adventurous, there are walking safaris and canoeing trips along the Zambezi River. The Classic Zambia package combines the 7th wonder of the world "Victoria Falls", with the best of South Luangwa. This journey offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities with activities including game drives and guided walks.

Day 1: South Luangwa National Park
Fly from Lusaka to Mfuwe. You are met and transferred to Mfuwe Lodge, an award-winning luxury safari lodge most famous for its local elephant family, who are known for making their way through the reception area when the wild mango tree at the heart of the lodge is in fruit. Guests are accommodated in 18 thatched ensuite chalets featuring private viewing decks overlooking two lagoons teeming with wildlife. There is also a swimming pool and day spa. Activities include game drives and walks. D

Days 2-4: South Luangwa National Park
Transfer to Bimilungwe Bushcamp, set deep inside the South Luangwa National Park, famous for its walking safaris and incredibly abundant wildlife. Set beneath a huge mahogany tree at the heart of Bilimungwe is a cool, shady lounge area that looks out over one of the camp’s three waterholes. This welcoming camp has four elevated thatched rooms decorated with colourful African fabrics and wooden furniture. Enjoy walking safaris, day and night game drives as well as refreshing sundowner drinks by the river. BLD

Days 5/6: Livingstone
Fly to Livingstone. On arrival, transfer to Thorntree River Lodge in Zambia’s lush Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park a few kilometres upstream of the magnificent Victoria Falls. Thorntree offers just 10 contemporary tented rooms, two of which are designed for families of up to four. Shaded by canvas, each guest tent has its own plunge pool, as well as indoor and outdoor bathrooms. On Day 6 enjoy a guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. The falls can often be seen for miles away, thanks to its towering columns of spray, caused by over 500 million cubic metres of water thundering into a gorge over 100 metres deep. The majesty of this waterfall inspired its official name, Mosi-oa-Tunya – “The Smoke That Thunders”. Afterwards, you have time to enjoy a range of optional activities including sunset cruises, game drives in the national park and helicopter flightseeing. BLD

Day 7: Tour ends
Transfer by road back to Livingstone airport where your tour ends. B
