On this trip you will visit Kibale Forest National park known to have the highest concentration of primates in East Africa. Later on go to Queen Elizabeth a biodiversity park known for its crater lakes, abundant flora and wildlife especially the tree climbing lions in Ishasha, boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. Lastly you will visit the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to half the world’s Gorillas estimated at 440 out of the 880.It such a memorable experience to come face to face with these gentle giants and lastly Lake Bunyonyi the place of little birds.

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda –the Pearl of Africa. Meet and greet our guide. Overnight: Kampala.

Day 2: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park the primate capital of the world.It is home to 13 species of primates. Enjoy the green scenery in the countryside especially the well-kept tea plantations. Stay at Kibale Forest Cottages

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park

On this day you have the chance to visit the Primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzees are famous primates seen in this place. You wake early for a morning trekking to search for these playful primates. Return for late breakfast. Later on in the afternoon go for birding and a community walk. You can choose to go birding in the morning and chimpanzee tracking done in the afternoon. Stay at Kibale Forest Cottages

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the afternoon on time for lunch. Overnight at Marafiki Lodge

Day 5: Game drive & Boat Ride

Go for the early morning game drive in the Park in search for the early risers and if lucky the Lions, Leopard, Hippos, Spotted Hyena, Buffaloes, Elephants, Mongoose, Bushbucks and the elusive Giant Forest Hog Plus over 600 amazing bird species including the Black Chested Eagle, Black Bee-Eater, Bustards, craters full of Lesser Flamingos the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters. Return to the lodge for breakfast as you wait for Lunch. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga channel to view the Hippos, crocodiles and Buffalos. Overnight at Marafiki Lodge

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi National park 
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest .Explore the village and the native communities. Keep your eyes open for the Tree climbing lions at Ishasha along the way. Stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge

Day 7: Gorilla tracking –a lifetime experience
Have an early morning breakfast and then go for a briefing by UWA officials at the Park headquarters. Proceed to the Impenetrable forest for gorilla tracking. Carry packed Lunch. You should be equipped with right footwear for the jungle since tracking involves walking up steep densely forested hills before finally coming across the endangered gorillas. After lunch go for a community visit to the local communities living around the park to learn about their history. Stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge

Day 8: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi.

After breakfast, we take a scenic drive to Kabale via Lake Bunyonyi (a place of little birds) with beautiful terraced hillsides. It is the second deepest Lake in Africa. Go for canoeing rides and also visit the legendary Punishment Island that hosted impregnated girls outside wedlock. Overnight at Bunyonyi Safari Resort or equivalent

Day 9: Travel to Lake Mburo

Stop over Igongo Culture Centre Museum that displays the culture norms of the Banyakole, Bakiga, Batoro and Banyoro. Enjoy a traditional Lunch at the Centre before proceeding to the Park. Stay at Rwakobo Lodge

Day 10-11. Drive to Lake Mburo National Park.

It is home to a variety of animals such as Elands, Zebras, warthogs, Impalas, Buffaloes and recently giraffes and over 300 bird species. The park is the smallest of Uganda’s Savannah national parks. You can enjoy a boat ride too on Lake Mburo and guided nature walk. Stay at Rwakobo Lodge

Day 12. End of tour. Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe to catch your flight home with a stopover at 0° Latitude at the Equator.

Participation in our East African tours requires that you are in generally good health. It is essential that persons with any medical problems and related dietary restrictions make them known to us well before departure. The tour leader has the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the tour if he feels the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either that individual or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances.
