The accommodation has been carefully selected to offer a true escape into the wildness without needing to sacrifice comfort! The glorious surrounding provide guests with peace, privacy and an exclusive experience. The South Luangwa National Park marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, one of the last remaining unspoilt wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa. It is through this that the great meandering Luangwa river runs, with its ox bow lagoons, riverine supported woodlands and large plains, all of which play host to huge concentrations of game including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, giraffe, hippo and over 450 species of birds,

Day 1 - 4

Malawian style will collect you first thing in the morning to begin your adventure to South Luangwa NP, Zambia.

We begin by heading west to Croc Valley Camp in South Luangwa National Park. The drive is 320km at takes approximately 6 hours including the boarder crossing.             

Croc Valley Camp is set along the bank of the Luangwa River with fantastic views where it is not uncommon to see elephants crossing the river and strolling through the camp. The accommodation is comfortable and completely environmentally friendly providing a fantastic viewpoint from which to see the wildlife that wander through the camp, and the food really is fantastic!!

Luxury tented safari accommodation, all meals and all game activities are included.


Day 4 - 8: The Zungulila Bush Camp

Each of the six bushcamps are set in glorious surroundings and can accommodate a maximum of just eight guests, ensuring that your stay is a peaceful one and tailored to your personal needs.

Zungulila is a charming camp that embodies the essence of old Africa and a bygone era, with breathtaking views onto the Kapamba river and an expansive plain where natural springs attract huge herds of game. The Camp consists of four spacious tents. Built under thatch roofs, each shaded tent has its own private bamboo veranda with immense views over an impressive variety of.


Day 8 - 11: Luangwa River Camp

Last, but by no means least is the Luangwa River Camp. Luangwa River Camp sits nestled under an ancient ebony grove on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the game rich area known as the Luangwa Wafwa.

This small and intimate camp with just five bush suites, along with its setting and location creates a real “wow” factor through the camp.

The combination of the fantastic wildlife, knowledgeable guides, superb service and friendly team make Luangwa River Camp an experience not to be missed.


Day 11:  Lilongwe

Unfortunately all good things must come to end and on day 11 we return back to Lilongwe. As before, the drive is 320km and should take approximately 6 hours.
