10 Days Classic Botswana

Wildlife viewing is ideal year-round, but for some parks this can fluctuate. The Moremi and Chobe are frequented most and are known to be the most popular. If these are on your list, we’d advise a travel period from May to September, during the Dry season and winter, resulting in more moderate temperatures. Except for January and February, rains are mostly short afternoon showers and seldom have a negative impact on your trip. Our destinations are carefully selected to give memorable experiences through exciting encounters with animals and nature.

Safari tour package: A custom, tailor-made, private safari
Prices: $1250 - $1500
Includes internal flights: No
Length of safari: 10 days
Best months: All year
Countries visited: Botswana Botswana
Parks visited: Chobe, Moremi
Activity level: Easy - Game drives, bush dinners
Safari type:
  • Camping
  • Cultural
  • Birding
This results in tours aimed to give the best wildlife opportunities at the destination, accompanied by our expert safari guides and always spending as much time as possible in nature. With the philosophy, “take memories; leave only footprints,” our priority is to protect and preserve each unique destination for its people, wildlife, and future travelers by finding meaningful ways to reduce our environmental footprint.

Day 6: Savuti area

An interesting game drive takes us away of the Khwai river, traveling north via the Mababe Depression to Savuti, our camp for the next 2 nights. The Savuti area with wide open grassy plains and scattered rocky outcrops is the perfect area for large herds of elephants, zebra and wildebeest and giraffe families, not forgetting the many predators that follow them. We also make a short climb to see some Bushman rock paintings, beautiful vistas from the hill. Back in camp after sundown.

 Main destination: Savuti

 Accommodation: Mid-range camping Inside Savuti

 Meals & drinks: All meals included all drinks

Day 8: Chobe river

Lunch is at a restaurant in town and in the afternoon we make a boat trip on the river as this is the time when most animals come to the river to drink. We are back in camp by sundown.
